Wilfrid Hyde-White

Biography: A stage actor by the early '30s, Hyde-White began acting in British films in 1934 and over the decade appeared in such notable films as Alexander Korda's Rembrandt and Robert Flaherty and Zoltan Korda's Elephant Boy. A regular supporting player in comedy as well as drama, Hyde-White acted in numerous films into the '80s, including Carol Reed's The Third Man and Outcast of the Island, Anthony Asquith's The Winslow Boy and The Browning Version, George Cukor's Let's Make Love and My Fair Lady, Norman Jewison's Gaily, Gaily, Radley Metzger's The Cat and the Canary, Marty Feldman's In God We Trust, and John Derek's Tarzan, the Ape Man.
