Vonzell Solomon

Biography: A native of Fort Myers, performer Vonzell Solomon landed her first major full-time job as a U.S. Postal Worker in Tice, FL. Solomon nurtured dreams of musical stardom from early childhood and began honing her vocal abilities at the age of 10, then shot to instant fame in her early twenties as one of the contestants on the fourth season of the blockbuster Fox series American Idol; though she lost the season to victor Carrie Underwood, she did finish in third place. Solomon -- who spent years performing with Floridian bands prior to her Idol involvement -- recorded a demo album in 2004 that was subsequently disseminated.
