Tripod

Biography: Over the last few years Tripod has evolved from a musical comedy act to the classic comedy three hander.
Gatesy, Scod and Yon (the cute one, the geek and the weird looking one) have sold out big rooms at the Melbourne Comedy Festival and Adelaide Fringe as well as debuting at the Sydney Opera House in a sold-out run just before Christmas.
Tripod began their run about 10 years ago. Their big break came when they were given a regular spot on radio on the triple J's breakfast show. Here they were given an hour to write a song based on words and topics given to them by their hosts - on the triple J show it was Wil Anderson and Adam Spencer.
Tripod have appeared on the Australian comedy sketch show skitHOUSE both as actors and as the house band. They have also toured the country a couple of times.

Currently they can be heard doing their "song in an hour" challenge on Peter Hellier's Friday Morning Today Network Show.
