Trent Ford

Biography: Born in Cleveland but raised in Britain, American actor Trent Ford attended Cambridge as a young man, then fell into his career niche in the City of Angels. Sporting a killer visage that made many a female audience member swoon, Ford divided his time between onscreen work -- nearly always appearing in films as the slick heartthrob boyfriend -- and print modeling (for Abercrombie & Fitch and other brands). Ford's dramatic career commenced on a regal note when he signed to appear in director Robert Altman's 2001 drawing-room mystery Gosford Park opposite Maggie Smith, Helen Mirren, Michael Gambon, Clive Owen, and others. He scored a plum romantic lead opposite teen pop star Mandy Moore in the sweet-natured romantic comedy How to Deal (2003), then received a bit of humorous typecasting with a bit part in Michael Bay's 2005 actioner The Island (where Ford plays the Calvin Klein Model).
