Taeko Kawata
Biography:
Born on March 20, 1965 in Tokyo, Japan, Taeko Kawata is a famous Japanese seiyuu (voice actress). Her name is sometimes misromanized as Taeko Kawada. Taeko has voiced several characters in various animes and OAVs such as Nene Mouri in Princess Nine and Cojicoji in Coji-Coji.
Alongside her work as a seiyuu in anime, Taeko has done work voicing characters in video games and has even done work as a singer. One such example is Taeko's voice work as Ringo Akai/Mew Ringo in the Japanese video game, Tokyo Mew Mew. She also sings two character theme songs of Ringo in the game as well. The two songs are entitled: "Rakuen wo Sagashite" (Searching for Paradise) and "Iyashite Agetai" (I want to heal you).
Taeko Kawata is multi-talented and continues her work as a notable seiyuu.
