Stuart Heisler

Biography: A prop man in the mid teens, Heisler was an editor by the early '30s and began directing in 1936. Through the early '60s he proved himself a competent craftsman in a range of genres, most notably with The Biscuit Eater, The Glass Key, Storm Warning, and The Star.
