Ron Moody
Biography: Moody was born Ronald Moodnick. A morose-looking character and comic actor of British stage, TV, and films, he appeared onscreen from 1957. In 1971 he wrote and directed the musical Saturnalia. He is best known as Fagin in the musical Oliver!, a role he created onstage and reprised in the film version (1968); for the latter he received a Best Actor Oscar nomination.
