Richard A. Dysart
Biography:
Richard Dysart is most famed for his role Leland McKenzie on succesful NBC drama series, L.A. Law. He has also starred in many movies, such as Hard Rain, Panther, Back to the Future III, Wall Street, Pale Rider, Mask, The Thing, The Falcon and the Snowman etc.
Dysart was born and raised in Maine. He served for four years in the Air Force during the Korean War. He's a founding member of the American Conservatory Theatre, San Francisco.
He received the Drama Desk Award in 1972. He earned three Emmy-nominations(1989, 1990, 1991) and one Emmy Award(1992) for his portrayal of Leland Mckenzie in L.A. Law. He describes him self as a "good friend" of Diana Muldaur, who played Rosalind Shays on the show.
