He founded the production company, Golden Harvest, and has produced movies that included big name actors Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan. Early in his life, Chow was a determined man. He studied martial arts and journalism as he grew up and desired to work in business one day. As he grew older, he nabbed a job as the production chief of Shaw Brothers in the late 1950s. Shaw Brothers was a production company, and Chow learned a lot about the film industry while he worked. Once the company began to show signs of distress, Chow left and decided to start his own company, Golden Harvest. His production company produced movies such as Zu Warriors from the Magic Mountain and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
