Ray Barrett

Biography: Actor Ray Barrett was quite busy in his native Australia's reactivated film industry following the War Years. One of his most widely seen appearances is The Sundowners (1960), filmed in Australia but assured good international bookings thanks to stars Robert Mitchum and Deborah Kerr. Barrett worked extensively in Britain as well as Down Under, with leading roles in such second features as Hammer Films' The Reptile (1965) and the 1971 "revenge for rape" thriller known variously as Revenge, Inn of the Frightened People and Terror From Under the House. From 1965 through 1971, Ray Barrett was one of the stars of the British adventure series The Troubleshooters.
