Rand Brooks

Biography: A wavy-haired blond actor, Rand Brooks spent fourteen years appearing as a juvenile lead in films, beginning in 1938. He was memorable as Scarlett O'Hara's ill-fated first husband in Gone with the Wind (1939). Brooks generally appeared in B-movies and Westerns, including 12 "Hopalong Cassidy" movies in which he portrayed "Lucky Jenkins." Retiring from films in 1952, he came back for two westerns and a couple more films in the '60s. He was married to Lois Laurel, the only child of the great screen comedian Stan Laurel.
