Phyllis Kirk

Biography: Born Phyllis Kirkegaard, she debuted onscreen in 1950 after working as a model. She played leads through the rest of the decade, mostly in minor films. Kirk was best known as Nora Charles in the TV series The Thin Man, opposite Peter Lawford. She was last onscreen in 1959, and is now retired from acting as the result of a hip injury that inhibits her movement. She is the widow of producer Warren Bush.
