Philip Rosenthal
Biography:
Philip Rosenthal was born in 1960 and is probably best known as the executive producer and co-creator of the hugely successful CBS sitcom, "Everybody Loves Raymond". Rosenthal graduated Hofstra University in 1981, and lived in New York City working as an actor. Soon after, he shifted his focus to production work, becoming the writer and producer of Coach and the ill-fated Baby Talk.
In 1996, "Everybody Loves Raymond" premiered and ran until 2005, when Rosenthal (along with co-creator Ray Romano) decided to "call it quits" much to the objections of the cast and crew members.
Today, Rosenthal enjoys a mixture of acting and producing work, having recently starred in the short lived ABC sitcom Help Me Help You alongside Ted Danson. In 2006 Rosenthal ventured into the book business, releasing You're Lucky, You're Funny: How Life Becomes a Sitcom, revealing how "Everybody Loves Raymond" was created. The book was released in October 2006.
