Omar Vizquel

Biography: Omar Vizquel was born in Caracas, Venezuela on April 24, 1967, his full name is Omar Enrique Vizquel, his parents are Omar Sr. and Eucaris, he is married to Nicole and has a son, Nicholas Enrique, he was originally signed by the Seattle Mariners in 1984 as a non-drafted free agent and made his Major League debut on April 3, 1989. He played with the Mariners until 1993 but by the end of that year he was traded to the Cleveland Indians for Felix Fermin and Reggie Jefferson.

With the Indians he played from 1994 to 2004, reaching a career high batting average of .333 in 1999 as well as a career high 14 homeruns and 72 RBI on 2002, but he struggled with an injury in his right knee in 2003 which limited him to only 64 games that year, he returned in the 2004 season with the Indians and by the end of that year he was signed as a free agent by the San Francisco Giants.
