Nick Dennis
Biography: Diminutive, dark-complexioned actor Nick Dennis made his first screen appearance in the New York-filmed melodrama A Double Life (1947). Dennis was brought to Hollywood in 1951 to repeat his Broadway role as Pablo Gonzales, Stanley Kowalski's card playing buddy in A Streetcar Named Desire. He continued appearing in character roles in such films as East of Eden (1955), Kiss Me Deadly (1955), and Spartacus (1960). From 1961 to 1966, Nick Dennis played orderly Nick Kanavaras on TV's Ben Casey.
