Millie Perkins
Biography: In her teens she became a successful model and cover girl, leading to her selection over numerous candidates for the lead role in the film The Diary of Anne Frank (1959); she received a lot of studio hype but nevertheless failed to develop into a star. She went on to a very sporadic screen career, often going years between roles. From 1960-64 she was married to actor Dean Stockwell; later she was married to screenwriter-director Robert Thom.
