Mae Young

Biography: Mae Young made her professional wrestling debut 1939 when she was just 16 years old. And it didn't take long for her to make a name for herself. She was Known as "The Queen" for 6 year and won the Women's United States Champion 2 times the first time she won it she held it for over 3 year beating all that came. She then droped the title and the name "The Queen" in 1946 and went by her real name Mae Young and it didn't take her long before she won a title winning the NWA Florida Women's Champion she was the first woman to win the title and never lost it. The title went Vacant not long after she won it. She then became a Manager. But that didn't last long she go back in the ring and started wrestling in Tag Team Matches winning many different tag titles. She then helded train Former WWE Woman's champion Moolah. In the 1950's these two women had many battles. And most of the time Mae Young out on top. In 1954 Mae walked away from the wrestling world to have a family. But in 1999 The WWE asked Mae Young to come back for a short time in which we saw Mae Young help Moolah Win the WWE woman's title. Now at the she is in her 80's she doesn't wrestle or train girls. But she does show up on WWE TV whenever the WWE needs her. She said that she will have one more match when she turns 100. Expand
