Liz McClarnon

Biography: Elizabeth "Liz" McClarnon was born in Liverpool with the dream to be a lawyer and to study law. However, her music teacher was thinking differently, and sent her to auditions of Andy McCluskey who was searching for 3 singers to form a girl trio. In 1996, after finding Liz, Heidi Range and Kerry Katona, he created Atomic Kitten.
Atomic Kitten was a great success in England, later on Europe, and all around the world, selling hundreds of thousands of CDs and singles. The other two girls were later replaced, but Liz is still the only original girl in the group.
Doing an accomplished report for the BBC in 2003, and appearing in the reality-TV show Celebrity Love Island in 2005, engraved her identity to the public. In 2006 Liz started working as a solo artist, releasing her first single, a cover of Barbra Streisand's Woman In Love. The song had a success, and Liz is about to release her debut solo album in 2007.
