Lisa Eichhorn
Biography: A lead actress with an air of inwardness, intensity and elegance, Lisa Eichhorn studied at Oxford and then trained for the theater at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She debuted onscreen opposite Richard Gere in John Schlesinger's Yanks (1979), in which (although she is an American) she portrayed a Yorkshire girl; for her work she won the London Evening Standard's "Actress of the Year" Award and received a Golden Globe nomination. She has also done much work on TV and onstage, appearing in plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen, and Brecht.
