Lisa Blount
Biography: Lisa Blount made her first film appearance in Sam's Song at the age of 12. Blount has since specialized in characters that seem to have been born and raised in backwater trailer parks. Her best role along these lines was millworker Lynette Pomerov in An Officer and a Gentleman (1981), whose thoughtless sexual manipulation of cadet David Keith results in tragedy. In 1991, Lisa Blount played the supporting role of Mary Ruth Hammersmith in the brief TV series Sons and Daughters.
