Judy Canova
Biography: Born Juliet Canova, she was a comedienne and singer in vaudeville by her teens, leading to work on Broadway in Ziegfeld's Calling All Stars. She debuted onscreen as part of the Canova family act in Busby Berkeley's In Calinte (1935) and appeared in numerous films, her trademark being hillbilly humor and an ear-splitting yodel. Canova also performed regularly on radio for a decade. She was the mother of actress Diana Canova and the sister of actors Pete and Zeke Canova.
