Biography: Judge Judy's father was a dentist. She graduated first in her class from the New York Law School in 1965. She was a former cosmetics firm lawyer. She proposed to her husband, Jerry. Judy and Jerry performed the ceremonies of all 4 of their married children (one son is still a bachelor ). She divorced Jerry in 1990, but remarried him a year later. Reportedly, she was still grieving from her father's death and needed time to herself.
Her children are: Gregory, Jamie Hartwright, Jonathan, Adam Levy and Nicole. Has 5 grandchildren. She graduated from Madison James High School in Brooklyn at age 17 , taking just 3 1/2 years, and was accepted at Washington University.
