Jonathan Kaplan
Biography: Kaplan began directing low-budget exploitation films in the early '70s, and scored his first critical success in 1979 with the powerful drama of neglected teenagers, Over the Edge, in which Matt Dillon made his film debut. He has shown particular success in directing actresses, with Heart Like a Wheel, The Accused, Love Field, and Bad Girls.
