Jon Laymon
Biography:
Jon Laymon has lived in central Florida since the mid-1990s. The first two weeks he was there, he lived in the back of his Jeep.
Jon is an accomplished art director who enjoys painting & sculpting. Jon has sculpted the animal characters & built the animatronics for the Rainforest Café restaurants around the world. He has also built sci-fi characters for N*SYNC's Joey Fatone's in-house theater. Jon's work can be found around the world, from London to Puerto Rico.
In April of 2004, Jon & his wife Stacy competed in Trading Spaces: Home Free in which eight couples competed to have their mortgage paid off. They won the competition after eight weeks of fighting for their spot at the top.
Apparently, the public remembered him from Home Free, because in October of 2004, Jon won Trading Spaces: Pick the Next Designer in which the public voted on who would be the newest designer on Trading Spaces.
Jon & Stacy have a young son, Dylan.
