Jared Hedges

Biography: Jared grew up in North Texas. He graduated from the University of Southern California's School of Cinema-Television, with a B.F.A. in Screenwriting (Magna Cum Laude). He has done ADR Writing for Funimation since 1999. While Jared had smaller contributions on Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball, and Case Closed, his main work has been as ADR Head Writer for the series Yu Yu Hakusho, Full Metal Alchemist, and the upcoming Samurai 7.

Jared currently works with fellow writers Joel Bergen, Colleen Clinkenbeard, and Kelli Howard.

He landed his first directing/producing job with the documentary featurette, Goku vs. Vegeta: Conversations on a Phenomenon, included as a DVD special feature on the Dragonball Z Ultimate Uncut Edition, Vegeta Saga (vol 1). He's also directed a 5-part interview with Gene Simmons, included on the upcoming DVD releases of My Dad the Rockstar.

He is currently living in Fort Worth, Texas, and working on an independant graphic novel.
