Jane Withers
Biography: From age four she performed professionally in vaudeville and on radio, leading to her screen debut at age six in 1932. She went on to be one of Hollywood's top child stars of the '30s. Her film career slowed down considerably when she reached her late teens, and she retired from the screen in 1947. After 1956 she came back to films in a handful of additional roles. She later made a great deal of money as Josephine the Plumber in a long-running series of TV commercials.
