Jack Fisk

Biography: Jack Fisk is an American producer and art director. He was born on December 19, 1945 in Canton, Illinois. Fisk often works closely with his wife Sissy Spacek on many different films. The couple met in 1973 when Spacek starred in the movie Badlands. Fisk was working on this movie at the time, and the couple met on the set. They hit it off and were married on April 12, 1974. Together, they had two children, one of which, Schuyler, is also an actress. Fisk also worked on the 1976 film Carrie. He was the art director for Carrie and Spacek also starred in this movie. During his career, he has collaborated with directors Terrence Malick and David Lynch. The collaborations have produced films such as The Tree of Life, The Straight Story and Mulholland. Fisk was nominated for an Academy Award for best art direction for the film There Will be Blood. He also had a brief acting career in 1977 when he appeared in David Lynch's film Eraserhead.
