Hermione Gingold
Biography: A child actress on the British stage by the late 1900s, Gingold became a beloved actress and comedienne in both London and New York. She made her first film in 1936 but appeared in films only sporadically until the late '50s, when she found new audiences with her performances in Vincente Minnelli's musical Gigi and the witchcraft comedy Bell, Book and Candle. Her notable late films include the musicals The Music Man and A Little Night Music and Sidney Lumet's comedy Garbo Talks.
