Henry Levin
Biography: An actor and director in theater, Levin entered films as a dialogue director in the mid '40s. He began helming features in 1944 with the horror tale The Cry of the Werewolf, and over the next three decades directed numerous genre films, achieving distinction with the musical biopic Jolson Sings Again, the western The Lonely Man, the fantasy adventure Journey to the Center of the Earth, and the comedies The Remarkable Mr. Pennypacker and Where the Boys Are. He has worked mostly in television since the '70s.
