Fred Williamson
Biography: After a decade as a professional football player he debuted onscreen as a football-playing surgeon in M*A*S*H (1970). He starred in a number of black-oriented action movies. In the late '70s he formed Po' Boy Productions, his own film company; he produced, directed, sometimes wrote, and starred in quickie action flicks.
