Edward Andrews
Biography: A versatile American actor whose bespectacled, moon-faced appearance may be adapted with equal success to roles from the sinister to the comedic to the henpecked, Andrews began his stage career at age 12 and made his Broadway debut nine years later, in 1935. His film career did not begin until 1955, with The Phoenix City Story. He is perhaps best known for his role as Babbitt alongside Burt Lancaster in Elmer Gantry (1960).
