Don DeFore

Biography: A character actor and former costar, he studied acting at the Pasadena Community School Theater, then gained some stage experience in stock before debuting on Broadway in 1938. He debuted onscreen in 1941, going on to play many second leads and a few leads in Hollywood films of the '40s and '50s. DeFore often played a grinning, naive, urbanized yokel. He was later a regular on the TV series Ozzie and Harriet and Hazel.
