Chastity

Biography: Chastity Sun Bono was born on March 4, 1969, the daughter of singing superstars Sonny and Cher. She was named for the movie, Chastity, which her famous parents were producing at the time and for her father, Sonny. She made her first mark on the entertainment world when she would regularly appear at the end of her mom and dad's weekly variety show, The Sonny and Cher Show. Chastity's parents divorced when she was just four years old.

Although Chas tried a brief stint in the music business, she is best known these days for her activism on behalf of lesbian causes. She has written books about her own experiences and self-help books for others who are struggling to deal with their homosexuality. She also works as a public speaker and has appeared in a variety of television and film roles.
