Bretaigne Windust
Biography: American director Bretaigne Windust was born in Paris to a concert soprano and a violinist. Windust, Joshua Logan, Henry Fonda, and James Stewart teamed up to found the University Players in Falmouth, MA. From there Windust became a Broadway director. He began making Hollywood features in the late '40s.
