Beryl Reid
Biography: In her mid-teens she began performing as a comedienne in British revues and stageshows, and remained primarily a stage performer. Debuting onscreen in the mid '50s, she appeared in character roles in a handful of films, most of them made between 1968-73. She starred on Broadway in The Killing of Sister George in 1966, then reprised her role in the 1968 screen version.
