Bernard Cornwell
Biography: Bernard Cornwell, best known as the author of the Sharpe novels, is a prolific writer of historical fiction. He was born during World War II, considered a "war baby" as both parents were in different branches of the British service and he was the product of an affair. As of 2006, he resides on Cape Cod, Massachusetts with his wife.
