Arthur Shields

Biography: After establishing himself as an actor with the celebrated Abbey Players of Dublin, in his early 40s he went to Hollywood, where his brother Barry Fitzgerald was already a familiar screen presence. He went on to play small but important roles in numerous films from 1937 through the early '60s; he often played priests or other Irish types.
