Arlene Dahl

Biography: A ravishing and glamorous red-headed lead actress, she loved to act in high school, going on to join a local drama group while supporting herself in a string of odd jobs. Dahl debuted on Broadway in 1945. In 1946 she was employed as the "Rheingold Beer Girl." She signed a contract with Warner Brothers in 1947, debuting onscreen the same year and then signing a new contract with MGM in 1948; all but two of her film appearances came before 1960. She went on to be a businesswoman in the cosmetics industry, writing several books on women's beauty care in addition to writing a syndicated newspaper column. She married and divorced actors Lex Barker and Fernando Lamas.
