Ann Magnuson

Biography: Ann Magnuson was raised in West Virginia but left her roots behind when she moved to New York in the '70s and became a downtown scenester and multi-talent; she's worked as a performance artist, writer for national magazines, a musician in the cult-rock group Bongwater, and actor with a comedic bent in film and television. Appearing as a regular guest on sitcoms, with a series of her own (Anything But Love), coincided with her work in film; she played a lead role in Susan Seidelman's Making Mr. Right (1987). Since then, she has had minor roles in bigger films, like A Clear and Present Danger(1994), and some real turkeys, like her role as a goddess in Cabin Boy(1994).
