All Saints
Biography:
Four piece all female band comprising members from England and Canada, they formed in 1993. Founding members, Melanie Blatt and Shaznay Lewis were later joined by Canadian-born sisters, Nicole and Natalie Appleton. Another member of the original line-up was Simone Rainford, she left the band in 1995.
They named themselves after the road where the recording studio in which they met was situated - All Saints Road in London. Originally named All Saints 1.9.7.5. to signify the years in which they were born.
All Saints reunited once again in 2006, to release their third album "Studio 1".
