Biography: Alfred R. Kahn was the Chairman and the CEO of 4kids Entertainment. He was the responsible for turning Leisure Concepts Inc. to 4kids Entertainment in 1988.
He dubbed the most popular series called Pokemon, he also dubbed other animes and foreign cartoons such as Yu-Gi-Oh, Shaman King, Mew mew Power, One Piece, Sonic X and Winx Club. He also remake the popular 80's cartoons series such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.Alfred R. Kahn is also the responsible of editing and "Americanizing" anime and cartoons.
Alfred R. Kahn however, was criticized by fans of anime. They believe that Alfred R. Kahn's "Americanization" and censorship tarnishes original format. However many anime fans did not appreciate Kahn's edits. They also don't appreciate Kahn's voice actors. In 2005 Kahn was interviewed in Anime News Network.
