Every song is marked by Louis Tomlinsonʼs characteristic songwriting style, with songs that can be full of hope despite their tragic stories and that show the strong human being he is after tragedy hit him many times.     I love the guitar, especially on too young. Sounds more organic that music these days so it was nice to find it. The violins were an interesting touch and probably will sound great at live shows. His voice it’s pretty emotional so it gives this album an extra point

    Can't believe how amazing Louis' debut album is ! I'm a huge fan of good lyrics and I think his lyrics are amazing and honest too. His voice is also addicting. Wholly, Walls is an amazing album !

    a great album, we see that he put all his emotions on the album, he didn’t make an excellent album even with all the trauma he owes last year. We have to give love to that man, excelent album

    His solo record is nothing like expected. He has truly outdone himself. Coming out of the pop genre and has the potential to do absolutely so much more. He will shine through soon enough! The debut is unexpected.

    Louis Tomlinson delivered a beautifully written debut album, which I was not as surprised to see when I noticed he wrote most one direction songs. The thing that did surprise me was the fact that he managed to keep a consistent, clean, beautiful old school sound through all the record mixed with heartfelt feelings ripping out of his voice with every song. I hadn’t had the experience of aLouis Tomlinson delivered a beautifully written debut album, which I was not as surprised to see when I noticed he wrote most one direction songs. The thing that did surprise me was the fact that he managed to keep a consistent, clean, beautiful old school sound through all the record mixed with heartfelt feelings ripping out of his voice with every song.     Walls is very interesting, it's amazing how Louis shows his talent in these songs. It's incredible in this becouse he shows his capacity to can interpret differents types of music and I really like it, and how he could used his life stories very well to make these great songs. Congratulations for your work Louis Tomlinson.

    it's an amazing album, louis has an angelic voice and the lyrics are so deep and meaningful you feel like you know the singers feelings and personality and you can actually indentify yourself with it

Listening to a few of his interviews about himself and then listening to the album from top to bottom makes you understand that it’s 100% him. The melodies of Walls fit his influences perfectly and the lyrics is that of a person who’s able to put his heart into his music. “Walls” has been in theI’ve always admired Louis’ way to capture his feelings and turn them into wonderful lyrics. Another good point in Louis’ favor is his voice: I hardly ever get to connect to someone’s voice, to feel the emotions they are trying to share.. it always happens with Louis’ voice, every note hits the right spot in your heart. This album is a must for anyone who knows about love, pain, loss, happiness.. all merged with beautiful words and melodies. Good choice on the album title, “Walls”, following the idea of breaking down walls... as in breaking down walls of “men can’t be seen as vulnerable” too. I’d recommend this to anyone who wanted to feel something, to feel understood and less alone.… Expand

    After almost 4 years of waiting, we finally have Walls.
    Great album to start his solo career.
    Louis Tomlinson has a good musical potential. His lyrics count hundreds of hustorias and his singles are very catchy.
    Two of us is a beautiful song written for your mother.

    What I absolutely love about the artist is his talent to write lyrics. You get get from songs that all of them are written from personal experience and are very honest. With that songs gives you inspiration, courage or provoke you to rethink some things

    Try as he may, Tomlinson has not quite progressed from featured voice to solo artist. For all the major changes in his life, his music seems to be stuck in place. You can take the boy out of the boyband, but not the boyband out of the boy.

    Even if the songs on Walls aren't the most distinct or memorable, they come from a place of authenticity that's genuinely heartwarming and enjoyable. Like any other settled adult, he's perfectly content to stick to the reliable and Walls winds up being the most mature and natural of the ex-1D bunch.
