    While each of the band's EPs were like short, sharp gut-shots, Vile Child feels diluted in comparison, and as such is a record that shows plenty of promise, but not one that will change lives.

    they sound like a band that was influenced by sonic youth, hole, my bloody valentine, pixies, nirvana, smashing pumpkins, among other earlythey sound like a band that was influenced by sonic youth, hole, my bloody valentine, pixies, nirvana, smashing pumpkins, among other early alt rock pioneers. they're nowhere near as good as any of those bands in their best, but Milk Teeth is definitely better than the numerous bands in the 90s that were then influenced by, and who came out after the mainstream popularity of the aforementioned alternative rock pioneers.

    Vile Child is fun, catchy and loud throughout, even though I've heard all of this so many times before.
