Feb 24, 2020While Peggy Sue never quite reached the dizzy heights of Mumford and Sons’ stadium-sized tours, their artfully woven narratives are more than double-tap worthy of it.

Feb 24, 2020Forged at the intersection between positive and negative, romances and crumbling relationships, ‘Vices’ is a celebratory collection of a real-life instances represented in song - and it is as perfectly imperfect as real life itself.

Feb 26, 2020As beautifully crafted as the album is, with Young and Slade's voices effortlessly combining and crafting melodies via the wistful nostalgia of an old '60s jukebox, it can start to feel rather one-paced. UncutFeb 24, 2020Lyrically, the rose-tinted specs are off but sonically it has a romantic, decidedly retro bent, with reverb and (fine) vocal harmonies wrapped around songs that recall Shangri-Las, a stripped-back Lush and a less morose Cowboy Junkies. [Mar 2020, p.33]
