    Things Will Matter is fine as it is but it feels tantalising, as if there's something more to come from Lonely The Brave.

    Jakes and the band have so much inherent chemistry the flaws almost don't matter: the likes of 'Diamond Days' and 'Jaws of Hell' temporarily make the little misfires an afterthought.

    The rating for this album could have been a lot higher if the production/mix was not so drowned and noisy. It almost seems as if the band was too afraid to just rely on their excellent songwriting skills. The songs are strong compositions that grab you, but miss some detail and nuance due to the production. If the guys loose their insecurities on the next album, it could (and should, given the band's qualities) result in one of the most epic rock albums of the decade. Don't get me wrong, Things Will Matter is definitely worth listening and buying. And wondering what Lonely the Brave will sound like when they fully unlock their potential.… Full Review »
