    Romantic, modern, vintage, classic, spinning pop illusions while sublimely dancing with the dark arts--there’s a definite “vibe” throughout The Shadow Side and the mainstream would be better for it, should the world surrender themselves to Andy Black’s deceptive embrace.

    The Shadow Side contains some of the best material the man has been responsible for and proves Mr Biersack is one of the most captivating figures in music today.

    Many of the tracks on the album definitely feel like they were written during the golden age of pop-punk music. Yet there is also something innovative about these songs, particularly the opener “Homecoming King.”

    Andy's captivating voice, as well as the uncanny production, takes you through the punk-rock ride in all its glory. The album is a departure from Black veil bride's sound, but it definitely delivers (it actually ended up being better). The biggest highlights of the album (which were really hard to pic, considering how good the album is) are "love was made to break", "the void", the high paced "louder than your love" and, the biggest of them all, "homecoming king".… Full Review »
