    On The Door, there is a sense that the sounds happening are not the products of the people creating them but rather those of some inscrutable (and vaguely dangerous) pulsing energy below our feet. It’s an amazing effect. And it’s created through the sheer power of quantity and repetition.

    I'm more of a fan for their work as Double Leopard, and when I first heard them I thought "Isn't this what Black Mountain do, and I'm more of a fan for their work as Double Leopard, and when I first heard them I thought "Isn't this what Black Mountain do, and kind of better?" But their starting to win me over. It's a mess, but an interesting one that is steadily growing on me.… Full Review »
