Nov 28, 2016At 16 songs totaling 99 minutes, this can get a bit exhausting. However, the long, hypnotic jams that dominate songs like "Pilot" and "Consequence" (with the former clocking in over 13 minutes) make it well worth the effort as they're breathtaking in their execution. This is one of the best live albums in recent memory.

Nov 28, 2016Fortunately, the songs are solid enough to handle a little toying around. The Notwist are talented at writing the kind of songs that hit a melancholy and serious spot somewhere in your abdomen. A little playing around with the form misses the mark of course, but it’s not a deal-breaker.
