What did this album give? this album is very much overrated, most of the songs are so shallow. Sour's all about the "aesthetics" and not really about the music. Also, it's trying so hard to be all of Taylor's era at once and fails to tell a story. I wish Olivia wrote a much more heartfelt album to introduce herself to the industry than mid-sounding music that's not gonna last a long timeWhat did this album give? this album is very much overrated, most of the songs are so shallow. It's just full of songs about heartbreak, and ngl, everything sounds the same and gives the same thoughts over and over.

I do not enjoy the premature writing, and the album overall sounds a bit dated. Doesn't lives to it's hype.

so disappointed. honestly dont understand why olviia rodirgo skyrocketed to fame in january. sour sucks and is so unoriginal she stole melodies and progressions and a ton of other stuff from famous artists like taylor swift, billie eilish, paramore, elvis costello, and more. she really cant just do one thing right. and her stupid fans went after joshua bassett and sabrina carpenter andso disappointed. honestly dont understand why olviia rodirgo skyrocketed to fame in january. sour sucks and is so unoriginal she stole melodies and progressions and a ton of other stuff from famous artists like taylor swift, billie eilish, paramore, elvis costello, and more. she really cant just do one thing right. and her stupid fans went after joshua bassett and sabrina carpenter and even sent them death threats and she didnt do a thing. the album was just skips and dont even get me started on the album cover. fix your voice, vocals, songs, originality, production, and literally everything else olivia and dont think you can sing cuz you cant. you shouldve just been a mcdonalds worker. she cant act or sing would not recommend ever. dont listen unless you want to have your eardrums broken . dont waste 35 minutes of your life. her lyrics don't connect and she did such a bad job for a debut album. the bridges and choruses and verses and everything just suck. olivia rodrigo doesnt deserve sh*t and neither does this album. a weak debut. it was too short and it's always about a mysterious boy who we all know who. It was such a hater, ''i''m not like other girls'' type of album and it almost made me want to vomit.

This album is bad, we don’t have any highlights on the album, the best track is the acoustic guitar song “Enough For You”, the album is a copy of Taylor Swift’s and Jack Antonoff work but in a really bad way, we can say that the biggest hit “Drivers License” didn’t age well, and the response song “Skin” is way better than Rodrigo’s song. Her combination of sweet melodies and bitter moods, her conversational flow, and her self-awareness are all skills many songwriters twice her age would love to call their own, and they make Sour a well-rounded emotional journey and strong debut album.

Sour, for the most part, is a pop album that dips its toes into the alt-pop and bedroom pop subgenres, specifically spending most of its time in the latter. ... Rodrigo's lo-fi deep cuts that were made in the shadow of "Drivers License" can sound a bit repetitive. Her craft as a songwriter is especially evident on tracks like "Enough For You", "Happier", or "Hope Ur Ok", but the acoustic complexion these songs were going for could have benefitted from a bit more background noise.

By the end of the album, Rodrigo has established her voice and showed listeners that she's not afraid to be vulnerable. SOUR is a strong debut that vividly illustrates the beautiful chaos of being inside a teenage girl's brain.
