Apr 17, 2012Songs is solid when it sticks to what it knows best, the crisp beats, playful bass wobbles and shuddering tempo. Apr 26, 2012He seems stuck between self-consciously chasing mainstream pop crossover and some underground ideal, and pulls off neither.

Mar 28, 2012There may be arguments for Rusko's moves here; it's just that they're not very well executed.

Mar 27, 2012Although Songs feels consistently summery, it lacks coherence: the diverse elements don't completely gel.
